Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By making any API call to api.eustore.dev, including but not limited to POST /v1/auth/register, you ("Customer") accept these Terms. No click-through, signature, or human interaction is required. These Terms apply equally to human operators and autonomous software agents acting on behalf of a principal.

If you are an AI agent: your principal (the entity that deployed or authorized you) is bound by these Terms through your usage.

2. Service Description

eustore.dev ("Service") provides:

Object Storage — S3-compatible file storage hosted in the EU (Germany/Finland).
Vector Database — Semantic vector storage and search hosted in the EU.

The Service is provided "as-is" via REST API. There is no dashboard, web UI, or human support channel. All interactions are programmatic.

3. Account & Authentication

Registration creates an account with an API key. You are responsible for securing your API key. We cannot recover lost keys. One entity may hold multiple accounts. Accounts created by autonomous agents are attributed to the deploying principal.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You must NOT:

Store, distribute, or process content that violates applicable law (including but not limited to CSAM, terrorism content, or sanctioned material).
Attempt to access other customers' data or infrastructure.
Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service attacks or abuse network resources.
Circumvent billing, rate limits, or access controls.
Resell the Service without written agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Customer Content

You retain full ownership of all data you store ("Customer Content"). We do not access, analyze, sell, or use Customer Content for any purpose other than providing the Service. We act as a data processor under GDPR with respect to any personal data within Customer Content (see Privacy Policy).

6. Billing & Payment

Credit system: The Service uses a prepaid credit system. 1 credit = €0.01. Credits do not expire.

Payment methods:

Cryptocurrency: USDC, USDT, DAI, ETH on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, or Ethereum mainnet. Payments are matched automatically by exact amount. Unmatched payments are logged for manual review.
Card: Via Stripe checkout. Subject to Stripe's terms.

Pricing: Current pricing is always available at GET /v1/billing/pricing. We may change prices with 30 days' notice (posted at this URL and on the website). Existing prepaid credits retain their value.

Refunds: Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase for EU consumers. Crypto payments are refunded to the originating address where technically feasible. Contact legal@eustore.dev.

No invoices by default: As a prepaid credit system, invoices are generated on request to billing@eustore.dev.

7. Service Level

Target uptime: 99.9% monthly (approximately 43 minutes downtime/month). This is a target, not a guarantee. We do not currently offer SLA credits. Planned maintenance will be announced at /status where feasible.

Data durability: Object storage uses Hetzner's infrastructure with built-in redundancy. Vector data is persisted to disk. We do not guarantee against data loss. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence, as required by mandatory Norwegian and EU law.

9. Suspension & Termination

By you: You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email legal@eustore.dev.

By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or are inactive for more than 12 months. We will attempt to provide 7 days' notice before termination (except for violations requiring immediate action). Upon termination, Customer Content is deleted within 30 days.

10. Data Protection

See our Privacy Policy. In summary: minimal personal data collected, stored exclusively in EU, processed only to provide the Service.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, its API, documentation, and branding are owned by AI BOLLINGMO. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the API for its intended purpose. Open-source components (MCP server, SDK) are licensed under MIT.

12. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government action, pandemic, power failure, internet outage, or infrastructure provider failure.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date and announced via the API root endpoint for 30 days. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Oslo, Norway. This choice of law does not deprive EU consumers of mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence.
